I've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews but was wondering whether anyone here had experience and advice on this in general or with the iPad Pro/M1 chips in particular.Įxperience with a good iPadOS lightroom alternative (I've been looking at Pixelmator Photo, Darkroom, and Affinity Photo) But I would like something that is fast and not prone to crashing/freezing, or that allows me to make heavy edits when I feel like it.

You dont usually see a workflow concept reworked like this. I don't make a lot of changes post as I try and get the best photos I can SOOC. But with Optics Pro 7, you have the much simpler direct access to images and even drag-and-drop simplicity, as DxO explains on its site. With the release of the new M1 chips, I'm attracted to the idea (in theory) of doing my post on an iPad. Optics Pros Help file is actually a comprehensive user manual, and an included visual guide acts as the quick-start guide for users who want to jump right in. I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 ultrabook and a Surfacebook 2. I couldn't find any threads that helped me with my predicament. DxO Labs has unleashed whole new fleet of photo editing software.
